Easter Candy White Chocolate Bark

Chocolate candy bark is great for family holiday gathering and for gifts. The bright spring colours are perfect for Easter!

Chocolate Candy bark is such a nice sweet treat and it is perfect for seasonal holiday treats. Easter colours are so distinct with light neon pink, blue, green, purple, yellow. These work so nice for a bright and colourful bark!

There are also many different candies with an Easter theme. I used these pink sour jelly beans. They are so good and I had to hold off eating them before I threw them on the chocolate bark.

To go along with the jelly beans, I also spread some seasonal sprinkles. These bright coloured sprinkles are in spring shapes. Any type of sprinkles works great like jimmies, nonpareils, draggees and other sprinkles.

Great For A Gift!

I have made these so many times. Sometimes I make them for us to have as a treat, while other times I make them to give as gifts. Chocolate bark is a great gift and people always love it.

One batch of this bark can be enough for about 3 or 4 gift boxes. I buy Easter containers from the dollar store. Both tin and cardboard containers are great for candy bark.

How To Melt Chocolate Candy Melts

When I make chocolate bark, I use chocolate candy melts. They are great because they melt easily and the consistency is smooth and creamy. I also like that they break easy.

To melt them, place the white chocolate candy melts in a large glass bowl. Cook them in a microwave at 50% power for 4 minutes. Halfway through cooking, stir the chocolate.

Expert Tip! If the white chocolate is not fully melted, cook them a little bit longer. It is better to heat it in the microwave over small time chunks instead of a longer one so you can make sure it doesn’t burn.

A Baking Sheet Is Perfect For Making Chocolate Bark

The white chocolate is spread on a large baking sheet. I use one that is 17×12 or 18×13 inches in size. Also, line the baking sheet with parchment paper, which is great because the chocolate does not stick to it and lifts off easily once hardened.

Evenly spread the melted white chocolate across the parchment paper lined baking sheet.

Melt the pink candy melts the same way as you did with the white chocolate. Since there is not as much of the pink, 3 minutes should be enough time to fully melt.

Sprinkles and Jelly Beans Make This Bark So Fun!

Take the jelly beans and various sprinkles and spread them all over the melted chocolate.

Place the baking sheet in a fridge so that the chocolate will chill and harden. It does not take too long, probably 30 minutes is enough time.

Expert Tip! There are so many different types of toppings you can place on the bark. Go to a local candy store, bulk food store and get a bunch of spring/Easter coloured gummies, sprinkles, or other candy!

Once chilled, take the baking sheet out of the fridge. I take the sheet of hardened chocolate and parchment paper and place them on a large cutting board. I find it easier to break into pieces this way.

To store, place the pieces of bark in a sealed container. But, don’t expect it to last long.

More Chocolate Bark!

I have made many different types of bark over the years. Some for Easter, others for Christmas and some, well, just because bark is goo good!

Here are some other recipes for chocolate bark.

I also love making little chocolate candy cups. Essentially it is the same thing as bark, except I pour them into little paper candy cups.
