Super simple directions for homemade chicken noodle soup made in a slow cooker. Perfect for leftover chicken with carrots, onion, and egg noodles.

Ingredients

leftover chicken carcass

water

onion
diced

diced carrots

cooked chicken meat
chopped

bay leaf

fresh ground black pepper

garlic powder

thyme

oregano

package egg noodles
Instructions
Add all ingredients, except the egg noodles, to the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Remove chicken bones and bay leaf.
Stir in the egg noodles and cook until tender, about 45 minutes.
Serve.
Notes
If desired, add 2 stalks of diced celery as well!
