Pico de Gallo

Pico de gallo, or salsa fresca, is a Mexican condiment that is perfect for serving with tacos, fajitas, burritos…. well really almost any Mexican dish! It is also great as a fresh salsa and perfect for scooping with tortilla chips.

  • 2-3 medium tomatoes , diced
  • 1/2 sweet onion , finely diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper , minced (optional)
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro , minced
  • juice of 1 lime


  • Toss all ingredients together.
  • Serve on tacos, fajitas or scoop with tortilla chips.
