Asian Dipping Sauce

This dipping sauce can be made in a matter of minutes and is perfect for dumplings, lettuce wraps, spring rolls and more!!

There is a restaurant I love to go to that serves lettuce wraps with an incredible Asian dipping sauce. The wraps are great, but dipping the wrap in the sauce, or drizzling some sauce all over, makes them even better.

This sauce reminds me so much of that restaurant. I have made this recipe so many times over the years and use it in many more ways than just a dip for lettuce wraps.

What Makes This Dip So Good?

  • So quick to make. Add the ingredients to a bowl and mix. That’s it.
  • Salty! Spicy! Sweet! This sauce has the perfect balance of flavours.
  • Incredibly versatile. I love this sauce with dumplings, dim sum, spring rolls, lettuce wraps and more! It is even great drizzled on some rice or noodles.
  • Use it as a marinade! Who says you need to use this sauce as just a sauce? Marinate chicken, beef, and other meats and then grill them or pan fry for an incredibly seasoned meat.

How To Make Asian Dipping Sauce

It is very easy to make this sauce. Measure out the ingredients (except the green onions) and add them to a medium/small sized bowl. Whisk until everything is well combined and the sriracha is dissolved. Add the green onions to the bowl.

Once mixed, this sauce is ready to be served. It can also be sealed in an airtight container and stored in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
